"A Ferry Move"
Author: aussiehinz

Heading for the Ann Arbor Railroad's car ferries at Frankfort MI, northbound Ann Arbor Train TF-1 has a good roll on 'em through spring fields waiting to be plowed and planted at Azalia MI, between Dundee and Milan. Much of the train's consist will ultimately be ferried across Lake Michigan to connecting carriers on the Wisconsin side. During this era, AA was still operating two Toledo-Frankfort road trains in each direction most days.  April, 18, 1975

Cheers,

Very nice!  I like the colors as well, not to mention a matched set of GP35's!

EMD units with Alco trucks.  When AA traded in their Alcos, they specified that the trucks be transferred.
