Nostalgia & History > 1964: 3 G'sDate: 01/18/17 16:06 1964: 3 G's Author: bandob 1964 was probably the year I first did what might be called "serious" railfanning. Armed with my trusty 35 mm, I'd explore Washington DC Union Station and take short trips to various places, out and back by train.
Here's 3 GG1's in the summer of 1964: two in Union Station, the third in Ivy City from the window of the steam train on the B&O. How many other places than here would ya possibly even find something such as this except on a Model RR? Great shot. Ben

The ACL E's are an added bonus
Thanks. Date: 01/18/17 18:07 Re: 1964: 3 G's Author: refarkas Great photos. Number three with the E6A and GG1 is amazing.
