There was an engine named "Acorn" but I can't remember if it was Gene's or in a park in Oakland? Maybe Griffth Park. Nudge Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/20/17 12:01 by spnudge. Date: 01/20/17 13:24 Re: Jr. Daylight & Snow Cones: 1950's Chatsworth? Author: BobP Calico? (Walter Knott owned it)

There is something in the middle of the image that looks like saguaro cactus in the background, and the trees look like palo verdes, ironwoods, and creosote bushes. On the other hand I've never heard of an operation like this in Phoenix in the 1950's or early 60's.

I believe it was Live Steam and not Gas operated. Not sure of its number. James R.(Jim) Baker Whittier, CA Date: 01/25/17 16:06 Re: Jr. Daylight & Snow Cones: 1950's Chatsworth? Author: BobP |
