Great historical images. The GAS&C FT is truely "Old, Rare, and Obscure".

Photo 1, I assume the background is the Atlanta Broom Co. At first I thought it was taken near Union Station, but the longer I look at it, the more puzzled I get.

The lettering on the side of the building that I can read is " ATL .... ROOM CO." and the small circle on the other side says "since 1919"

That's the one. http://realpages.com/sites/atlantabroom/index.html It was actually a janitorial supply company and it's still in business, although no longer in downtown.  

I believe this is north of Union Station, between the northern end of the platforms and the point where the L&N and Southern tracks become adjacent (going north).
