Nostalgia & History > WM Wednesday - WM 5971Date: 02/22/17 16:39 WM Wednesday - WM 5971 Author: refarkas WM 5971 is in New Castle, Pennsylvania on April 4, 1977. She is ex-C&O.
This was converted to black and white because of a seemingly-uncorrectable tint to the original slide. Bob Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 02/23/17 10:51 by refarkas. Date: 02/22/17 16:50 Re: WM Wednesday - WM 5791 Author: SP4360 There seems to be some sort of minor diffugilty in the backround.

JB Date: 02/23/17 05:09 Re: WM Wednesday - WM 5791 Author: bridgeportsub There were 25 of those beasts that the C&O unloaded on the WM. All were is some sort of disrepair. Cumberland shop repaired all of them and put them back in service.WM would never have anything that looked that bad out running around. But I sure wish she was back.

I was fortunate enough to never have a problem like that with Kodachrome or Ektachrome with Kodak processing. However, I did have two problems like that with Kodacolor that was processed by Kodak. On a percentage basis, it was high because I took very little Kodacolor. In one case, with a lot of work, I was able to get reasonable color. In the other instance, i had to resort to a black and white conversion like you did. ALLEN |
