WAG Wednesday: Kenefick at work in Utah

From time to time here on TO mention is made of Uncle Pete's "Kenefick Green" era. The name is in reference to the late UP President John C. Kenefick, and the Green refers to a utilitarian shade of green that was liberally applied to quite a bit of non-revenue rolling stock as wells as just about everything else that was nailed down. This unique color could be found on signal masts, bridges and all sorts of other random items around 'Uncle Pete's house'. Though personal opinion varied from fan to fan, I tended to like this era in UP's visual history. I thought it gave the UP a sort of classy look, overall. At any rate here is a shot Bill Gibson got while on 1979 vacation out in Utah. Enjoy...
