SR Photo 1. We attracted the attention of the local urchins. I don't remember, and can't make out, what the signs say- probably offering to clean our windshields? Photo 2. SR I got asked about the "DANGER 600 VOLT THIRD RAIL" lettering on my car. M-51 is a former Sacramento Northern motorcar delivered to the SN in Nov 1942. At the time the SN was still an all electric railway and much of the Northern Electric built sections had 3rd rail. I added the lettering as a nod to this history (I've no idea if the cars actually carried such warnings). Kids are the life blood of our hobby's future!
