trains. In the early '50's I can barely remember riding behind these on No. 19 which was the Cedar Rapids, Ia. to Estherville train. We rode the train from Vinton to Iowa Falls where we caught a "Rocket" to Des Moines. As my Dad was an employee, we rode on a pass. As I recall, we left Vinton in the wee hours and got into Iowa Falls about day break. zr190 PS - Nice series of pictures!
