The news reports always it was an underpass, never realized it was part of
Dallas Union Terminal's throat.

I can still tell you where I was and what I was doing at that time 11/22/63

The engine is just past the famous triple underpass of Dallas. Here is a overhead shot made a some time ago showing trackage into DUT as well as going north to the MKT yard and FW&D line.

The towerman at one of the interlockings (which is just off camera to the
left) was witness to some strange happenings on Nov. 22. He later met an
untimely fate. Take from that what you will.
