According to the hand-written notes, the first 7 show X46 in action in the Elmwood Place/Ivorydale area in May 1969 (though they appear to be multiple events)

No. 9 depicts X288 in June 1967, but no location given. Any information is much appreciated, thanks for looking!

No heat, all mechanical linkages and no windshield wipers. If it was raining or snowing, you opened the window so you could see. But at least I had a seat! But, lifting with a big hook is very slow and precise so I guess that's the difference.
