CSX 8240 Eastbound

CSX 8240 heads east through Easton, Ohio in February 1989. How different this paint scheme looks from the dark blue and yellow paint scheme used today.

Personally, I like the scheme on the 8240. Silver and blue look good together. Thanks for the share.

Great shot. That paint scheme didn't last very long.I remember the SD 60's being delivered in that paint scheme.

Beautiful crisp image of CSX as I like to remember them. I know I'm running against the grain, but I've always liked the "stealth" paint scheme. Never liked the blue/yellow one....not very "railroady" IMO.
