In the Autumn of 1987 power painted for the failed SPSF merger was still common. Here ATSF C30-7 8163 leads a TOFC train east through Crozier Canyon.

You really caught the light right for that photo . Also, the rock formations at the top of the canyon almost look like a fortress wall .
