Using the Last Light

These were all taken out on the western end of the BN East End (aka Racetrack) by Roger Puta. Remember Roger was working with Kodachrome 25.

1. BN 9921 E9A in May 1980

2. BN Dinky in April of 1985

3 and 4. May 1980

The E in the first photo became the BN-3

The shots from an elevated perspective appear to be Naperville, IL, taken off the Columbia Ave. overpass. Taking the first shot might have been a bit dicey - no sidewalk on that side of the bridge.

I'm sure you are right Evan. Naperville was Roger's home town. And the curve you see in Photo 1 is the curve where the Exposition Flyer rammed the Advanced Flyer on April 25, 1946 killing 45.

Yes. 1,3, & 4 are definitely Naperville. Not quite as sure about 2.
