ATSF Train 889 in Stockton, CA

ATSF 860 had Train 889 in Stockton, CA on April 16, 1993. She was a C40-8W built 5/90 and became BNSF 860. That's the Amtrak station in the second photo.

Build date should be 5/92, I believe.

Thanks for posting. I hadn't really thought about it until I saw your picture, but I would say that the ATSF 800 Class locomotives were my favorite of the modern era diesels. I had a few interesting "encounters" with them.

Nice photos, still need to acquire and 800 series for my layout. For me it's a toss up on my favorite Superfleet, but these were nice looking engines.
