Chasing Chessie 6061 Idaho Part 4 + UP 6044 Horns!
Author: RailRat

Video #1 is After Chessie 6061 passed, but had to stay and record UP 6044 Northbound (Westbound) Unit Grain train, passing by same location, underneath I-15 overpass, provided a sort of mini canyon echo of the horns, then Video #2 is resuming footage of Chessie powered train amid gloomy skies, heading south, along the natural cut canyon wall, towards McCammon,Idaho.

UP 6044's horn sounds like a Leslie S-3L or a Prime 920 with the lowest bell fouled. I recorded a Santa Fe C30-7 once whose horn sounded like that, except that the squealing 25-bell occasionally "popped" into tune and the horn suddenly sounded like a normal S-3L.
