Quick question: was the nose on MILW's rebuilt SD10s longer than on a stock SD7/9? Thanks in advance

No, the Milwaukee Road Milwaukee Shops just cut the height of the original short hood to use the factory top and base. The SD9 rebuilt after a wreck with a GP35 cab and short hood with the pointed end kept that shorter nose through the SD10 rebuild.
