Is that one of the ALCo-holics?  Did they show up in Bayshore often?

Yes the 9018 was a C-643. SP had three of them.

Bayshore in those times saw a huge variety of power. The KMs, Alco Century, and SD7s and 9s, and Fs from Oakland and Tracy and GP20s,30s,35s,U25Bs,RS32s and SSW units from LA coming up the Coast. The trailer trains 371,372,373,and 374 often got massive blocks of LA Passenger Pool Fs.

Great place to visit in the 1960s!

In all of my years living on the peninsula, I never saw any of the DH643s between SF and San Jose. I do recall seeing them in Oakland and Tracy
