York area to do that. It looks to be on the former NYC Hudson River line but I can be corrected on that. I'm also wondering if the NH painted FL9's were an excursion of some type as the last clip seems to show a large crowd trackside watching the train. TIA for any help. During college, he worked as a relief operator at the PRR's "G" Tower in Belvidere, NJ. He was a big fan of PV trips and rare mileage trips, so I am sure this was an excursion of some sort - I am thinking this was a circle trip that ran up the Danbury Line, then over the ex-New Haven Maybrook Line and then back to NYC on the Hudson Line?

There isn't any access at Poughkeepie to the Hudson Line from the Maybrook. At Beacon, yes, but that would require a run around in order to change directions to head south. |
