A couple of WOW consists in these clips; the 153 west an A-B-B-B-A set of GP60 variants and the last one,
a pair of F45's on the point! Rare by this date.

The last one is an F45 and an SDF40-2, but yes, a pair of cowls as the sole motive power on a freight train was quite rare. I never saw such a consist in person in 21 years of watching cowls in action on Santa Fe and BNSF.
