west of Blue Canyon here on TO, the famous John Bromley commented that he could remember braces of F units grinding up the grade there in the 1960s while he was attending college. Here is one of the first train photos I took at the same location on June 19, 1965 on my first visit to the Hill. Sorry about the instamatic quality.
