Nostalgia & History > Swift Train on the Dry Canyon TrestleDate: 11/11/17 19:01 Swift Train on the Dry Canyon Trestle Author: photobob The SP tracks were laid along the base of Mt Shasta back in the 1920's which bypassed the steeper Siskiyou Line. One of the locations required a large trestle to span one of the many canyon's on the side of the volcano. Here's the infamous Swift Train crossing the Dry Canyon Trestle in the early 1990's.

I stared at this for quite a few seconds . . . nicely done Bob . . . as if I would expect anything less . . . .:)
