A Pair of Anything (6)
Author: refarkas

Here are another pair of "Anything".
Image one: MILW 904 is at an unknown engine facility in an unknown location (Possibly in Minnesota) on August 21, 1973. Perhaps a model railroader would be interested in the facility details.
Image two: GM&O 102A and MILW 30C lead an Amtrak train departing Joliet, Illinois on August 8, 1972.

Now there's a classic example of the 'rainbow era' in the first four coaches!

Great rainbow shot. The windows in the coach on the right tip off that it is one of the 1300-1304 series.

These cars were rebuilt from the GN's "Coulee" series sleeper observation cars which were withdrawn from the Empire Builder about 1966.

Like the "Rainbow Era" photo. It was definitely in full swing during the early 1970's.

Lead photo is not anywhere I'm aware of in St. Paul. MN.

Nice photos, thanks for posting.
