1988 Louisiana postings, however when the horn sounds crappy, it can be rather annoying! Case in point, Amtrak #2, the eastbound Sunset Limited passing through eastern Lafayette with terrible sounding new cast Nathan P5 horn. Usually, in those days, they were handed off to the Eagle at San Antonio and never went through to New Orleans.
