Heading west through Hamburg, PA. on the PRR Schuylkill Branch from Reading, PA. to Mount Carbon, PA (near Pottsville) on March 7, 1962.

Looks like a healthy business for this part of the railroad. I assume that this train turned at Pt. Carbon and returned to Reading. I rode this train in December 1962 and that was the normal operating pattern. Love those Schuylkill Branch shots. Allen
