Anyone recognize this depot photographed somewhere in the Land of Lincoln? Thanks.

Very similar to the B&O depot at Atwood, Ill. No diamond at Atwood, though. Good luck.

Atwood is on the former B&O line that ran from Springfield, Illinois to Hamilton, Ohio. As far as the original photo, I was going to guess Hammond, Illinois, two stations west of Atwood, where the Wabash line from Bement, Il to Effingham and Altamont, Il crossed the B&O at grade. But this is just a guess. I'll do a little research to try to find a more accurate location.

IC1038west is correct on both counts.

It is Hammond, Ill.

It is the line from Beardstown that went due east out of Springfield towards Decatur and Tuscola; not southeast towards Flora.
