Along the B&OCT part 28 - C&O 1505 at Barr Yd.

I assume the unit is new and the location is the east end of Barr yard.

A lot of time has gone by. I didn't realize they came lettered for C&O.
Where were they originally assigned ?

They were purchased for Chicago Terminal work in addition to New Rock Subdivision assignments. I never knew why they were assigned C&O reporting marks--maybe for tax reasons? To this day all 25 are still on the roster although they've been scattered all over the system. A few are equipped for remote control service...

Nice details in the paint job, especially the steps and the trim around the headlights.

They tried them at Elkins WV on the Laurel Bank coal trains but soon found out they were not suitable for that kind of work.
