Bringing Back The SP, Tom Hallendorf Movies, 1966, 1967

Looks like this segment covers 1966 and perhaps 1967.
Roseville and a few freight train rides. All units renumbered
and the brand new AC 630s appear, but F's are still in the
picture with one nice black widow A-B-B-A set with reefers in
West Oakland.

Train 372, the afternoon pig train. Tom never filmed 374 however I went to Burlingame most every
evening to watch it pass at 8 PM like clock work - always on time.

Love those "side door Pullman" shots, and the footage from the gon ! Did that myself back in the late '50's, on the Omaha in Wisconsin, but only took my cheap still camera once. I have the negatives of that trip, but I need to process and post them.

One of the best videos you have posted so far, Jim. Also, how did you come up with such a rarity for the background music? It's not often you hear Dame Ethel Smyth's overture to her opera "The Wreckers."
