The first photo is on P-3 mainline, the second is a car for tie loading sitting down in the Store Department tracks, and the third was one of the express boxcars once used on the head end of the Streamliners and like the one we turned into a step car for the steam crew.

The GCS bulkhead is a favorite, saw many of those on the old SP Shasta Sub, then all the BN center beams showed up, then the TrailerTrain Center beams. Well before the monster 70 ft, 100 ton cars came out. Building later Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. Now converted to apartments. Located at Broadway Street, Walnut Street and 25th St. north side of Denver.

Has wallboard been known to crumble due to hard couplings? They are covered with plastic, and have airbag cushions in between piles of wallboard where needed.
