So the bottom of this plow had shoes that actually rode on the rail when plowing? Wonder what the shoes were made of and how many hours of plowing they were good for before they needed replacement. Anybody out there know if Jordan Spreaders have something similar for their front wedges, or do they only lower to a point just above the railhead and hang from their suspension points on the machine while plowing?
