A couple EL cabooses - mid-train - at Marion -- March 76

This EL freight was passing AC Tower and crossing the C&O then heading in to the large yards.

Conrail less than a month away.

From 2 different orders C369 built 1969 C376, 1970

was wondering if they were starting to collect equipment for distribution on C day C376 went to the D&H don't know what became of C369.

C369 went to Conrail #21169 then at some point reported on Providence and Worcester as 2116 and #5001.
March 1976, sad days on the EL.

Looks like a publicity shot. Unfortunately it was near time for it to be a funeral train. Marion was one great spot to watch trains. Always something moving.
