Nostalgia & History > SP6394 waiting for its next train at Sparks 1959Date: 06/13/18 12:25 SP6394 waiting for its next train at Sparks 1959 Author: photobob My Dad took me up to Sparks when I was fifteen with my new Argus C22 and a roll of Kodachrome. We wandered all over the shop area with out being hassled. This is where I fell in love with SP F-units.

It’s nice to see the backshops in the background. Last time I was in Sparks, say 2007-ish, it was still there, serving, it appeared, as several different businesses... Anyone know if UP has levelled it yet? I doubt that they still own it, but ya never know...
