BN Eastbound Near McNary Dam, Washington 3-27-94
Author: RailRat

Not the best use of Kodachrome loaded into a rented Canon EOS camera, and certainly not the best of photography skills on my part, when compared to others here on TO, but is one of only a few times I got to see any BN action while on buisness in Washington State.
Only used slide film for 1 year back then, all in 1994.

1 Just east of Plymouth, Washington, with McNary Dam in background, along Columbia River.

2 Same train, with caboose on end. Had to crop out my shadow on bottom!

I hope the mix of BN power might be interesting to some of you?

Thanks for looking.

The overall scene: cars, geology, seasonal grass colors, caboose, and yes, the power are interesting.
Thanks for sharing.

Probably the 664 train that came out of Albany, OR, as that train always had a caboose on it back in those days. Train was usually on duty at Wishram in the early afternoon. And some interesting power on that train as well.

Thanks for the photos, Jim.

663/664 were originating/terminating in Vancouver yard by then I thought and had quit “running through”. Could be 672 off the Oregon Trunk. At any rate the OT/OE were the only places to find trains with cabooses out on the road in the 90’s.
