Too new for nostalgia?
Author: mp109

These pictures are only 5 years old so maybe they're too new?
1. Amtrak no. 42 the eastbound Pennsylvanian with heritage unit no. 145. Unfortunately 145 was damaged in the collision
with the garbage truck when on the special with the legislators and is still in the shop apparently.
2. This MBTA engine was on a freight train heading east, probably going from the NS shops to Boston.
3. This NS SD70 needed a paint job in 2013. What does it look like today!

I think the 95/96 is my unofficial cutoff for nostalgia. That for me was the turning point to the crap era for me lol.

Sorry 'bout that. Guess I'll have to stick to current stuff! (I've got a lot of "real" nostalgia, back as far as the fifties, but don't have access currently.)

Oh don’t worry it don’t take too long before it’s nostalgic, railroading is always a place of constant change!
