1. SP Alco S4 102, Corpus Christy, TX in September 1965. Still has its T&NO number. 2. SP 1060, Adeline Street, Oakland, CA in August 1964. 3. SP Alco S2 1769 at San Jose, CA in January 1968. Date: 08/09/18 19:11 Re: Southern Pacific Alco Switchers -- Rick Burn Author: hogheaded The 1769 (pic 3) was a mainstay in San Jose in the 1960's, as was 1270 (pic 5). The 1031(pic 4) was the assigned depot goat in San Francisco at the time - note the muffler.
