EL Author: refarkas It is September 4, 1972 in Akron, Ohio, and EL 2506, 2462, 2458, and 3622 are heading west. Would the Smiley Face on the caboose still have his happy grin if he had known in less than four years the EL would be part of Conrail and a few years later the tracks through Akron would be gone?
