I have never followed the NEC service.

I thought it appropriate to post this time table since Amtrak no longer issues one in print form.

I worked in Philadelphia's 30th St. Station on the Sunday after Thanksgiving that year, punching Amtrak passenger tickets at the top of the stairs because the trains were too full for conductors to walk through the trains and collect tickets.  30th Street was packed to the gills and extremely loud.  I was in Engineering but Passenger Services had asked for help and I thought it would be interesting.  About a month later there was the fire at 30th Street started in conjunction with a renovation contractor's Christmas party.  I happened to be there that night, too.  Nobody needed my help so I caught the last SEPTA westward before they shut down the upper level of the station, which when I left was already seeing a good amount of smoke from below.
