One of my favorite EMD models still looking sharp in 1982.

​1131 was part of the B&M's 4th an final order of SW-1's (1949). and were delivered in maroon and gold.  Prior orders were delivered in all black or black with red on white stripes on the front.
The B&M maroon and gold scheme had an odd way of fading.,.the maroon would almost disappear and only gold would be left behind.   Google for images of 1131 and you can see what I mean.

The high number boards with class lights on some of B&M's EMD switchers were a neat touch..
