D&H #7615 was one of 20 EMD GP39-2 units purchased by the D&H. In total, EMD built 239 of these units that were not very popular. They produced 2300HP with a 12 Cyclinder Torbocharged 645 Prime Mover. C&IM #30 was one of 2 EMD RS1325 units purchased by the C&IM that represented EMD's entire production. They produced 1325HP with a 12 Cyclinder NonTurbo 567 Prime Mover. So while both units were quite different, they both had a 12 Cyclinder Prime Mover.
