In between the Santa Fe Hotshots and Milwaukee road shuttle trains, a Kansas City Terminal Job bangs over the UP (ex Mop) diamond at Sheffield in Kansas City, MO on home rails.

I only visited Sheffield maybe a couple of times back in those 70s & 80s, and usually too impatient to hang around. I was just too dern anxious to chase SFe, Rock Island & Uncle Pete over west of downtown. Yikes, the opportunities missed...

I love the sunshades over the windshields.  They look like heavy-duty eyebrows.  Nice looking end-cab switch engines.  Bet they counded good pulling that drag over the diamonds.   They don't mke them like that anymore.
