This locomotive was one that didn't get moved to the west coast and the Portland & Western RR.  Still, I have fond memories of running the four of the units that did; albeit a bit of a rough ride they were good locomotives (and the view from them was great). Switching with the PNWR 1202 (P&W 1774), I could leave muy conductor in the dust if he didn't swing quickly onto the steps (we had a good time working together, more fond memories).

Any idea why the P&W didn't keep them longer than they did?
