Excellent.  Both nicely lit roster shots of the only blue E unit and the only blue GG1.

I thought there was a second blue GG1?

I am fairly sure the 4800  "old rivets" was the only GG1 painted in Conrail blue done after its bicentennial scheme.  There were a bunch of E44's and E33's that were painted blue.

There was only 1 blue GG1. As stated, there were multiple E44 and E33 units that received Conrail blue.

There was a second blue E8 but it did not have the full Conrail graphics.

I believe the other blue E was 4256 (but my memory is sketchy). It had "CR" markings and I believe worked on the New York & Long Branch at some point in time.

Wow ! That 4022 shot is an early one in Conrail paint. It wasn't long before the top of nose got black paint and it received a Hancock Air Whistle. Thank you for posting these !

I am pretty sure I had a slide of 4256 in CR blue

Thank you, and I see it was on the NY&LB! Sometimes my long term memory is pretty good, other times I CRS...
