Date: 01/12/19 11:58 Re: Westbound through Martinez early 1960's Author: Barstool The crossover you see leads to a lumber yard, a building supply yard that handled sand , ballast and all sorts of construction rock.. mcMann use to take in about three or four ons every other day, the building supply was a Puerna-chow type operation and they use to take in a car load every other day...Also, not pictured is the depot at Martinezthat use to unload auto's from box cars of Pontiacs', buicks, cadillac's and an 0-6-0 would handle the car spotting and stay with three and sometimes four box casrs untilthey werenloaded, service at its best.
