Nostalgia & History > Down by the river…Date: 01/15/19 21:44 Down by the river… Author: oyw UP’s E-units and 15 passenger cars skirt the Feather River just east of Portola on July 1, 1994. The train is en route to Reno Junction where it will turn on the wye and return in preparation for the Circle the Wagons event held by the Feather River Rail Society the following day. Good times.
