I'm thankful for having known the late Jerry Jacobson and for having seen so much of what he did to keep history alive through his special trips on his (at the time) Ohio Central Railroad.
Here are three redos from one of those days. Perhaps these will bring a special Jerry Jacobson and/or OHCR memory to your mind.
1.) Is is a foggy August 13, 2004 in Dennison, Ohio. Jerry was running a special trip from Dennison to Bowerton, Ohio and back. The fog covering OHCR 1000 and 1001 lent a special feeling as if the mists of time were being parted.
2.) OHCR 1000 and 1001 had towed OHCR 6325 (ex-GTW 6325) to Bowerton for an excursion being run from Bowerton to Dennison.
3.) OHCR 6325 is westbound as she heads towards Dennison after leaving Bowerton.
Yes, Jerry shared so much, and many railfans of all ages were the beneficiaries.

Great shots! What ever happened to the F units that were there?

Last report I have on the two F Units is that they are owned the Aberdeen Carolina & Western at Star NC.  They are now numbered 4500 & 4501.

There was a second pair of F Units which OC painted in a livery similar to that of the PRR. After several years with the OC they went back to their earlier owner, CP. CP at least for a while after their return, used them as part of their Executive Fleet.
