My dad never worked there that I can remember but he worked at nearby Ovid, Colorado. My uncle Jay Lemons worked as a telegrapher in this depot and no doubt witnessed the passing of the "City of Denver" and "Columbine" passenger trains. Art took this photo in 1939, I think. Now I doubt you can see any trace of this depot and the only train is a local to Sterling.

I remember seeing the station sign, pictured in Jim's photo, at the Colorado Railroad Museum in GoldenĀ years later..
