Simplicity - SOO 556

 "Simplicity" in composition can be a virtue. In this image an unknown photographer caught SOO 556 (EMD GP9) in Rice Lake, Wisconsin in May 1973. Strangely it almost looks like a modern photo shoot trying to capture a past scene. Even the slight lack of sharpness in the original slide adds to the timelessness of this image.

Very nice roster broadside.
Shame the photographer did not take the time to place his/her name on the slide mount.
