Nostalgia & History > AT&SF Chicago Coach Yard, 1975Date: 03/14/19 09:33 AT&SF Chicago Coach Yard, 1975 Author: Hou74-76 December 1975, the AT&SF Chicago coach yard performed contract work for Amtrak. Trains 15&16, 3&4 and I think the Illinois Zephyr were all serviced, stocked and stored at this yard. Around back on the store track, sat a former Santa Fe 4-6-6 "Valley" series car renamed to Chief Illini.
