Nostalgia & History > a Friday Forty . . .Date: 03/22/19 06:35 a Friday Forty . . . Author: 3rdswitch . . . in a reworked repost taken on a dark gloomy day in APR '87, back when the oil cans ran over Tehachapi, the westbound empties were descending the grade approaching Rowen, CA. Regular forties were somewhat unusual on the train. This is the only train I shot with one leading.
