Again some rough Reg 8mm film from my fathers collection-
Back in 1974 my father got wind that UP8444 was coming out west to Weiser, ID. So my with my grandfather, dad, middle brother and my self drove from where we lived in Roseburg, OR to Idaho  
Here we see--
1- UP 8444 WB heading toward Weiser
2-WB freight train
3-Turning the entire in beautiful downtown Weiser
4-EB freight train
5-Some pacing EB--and my grandfather who was driving, was asked to pull over by the Idaho state police-bummer

Wonder how fast the 8444 was running in those films ? The freights were running faster than you see today . Liked the scene where you and your brother are waving to your grandpa. Thanks for sharing this film. --Kelly
