Nostalgia & History > Saginaw Timber #2, a 2-8-2 MikadoDate: 07/21/19 19:15 Saginaw Timber #2, a 2-8-2 Mikado Author: MartyBernard On August 4, 1987, Roger Paltelski visited the Mid-Continent Railway Museum at North Freedom, WI. Saginaw Timber #2, a 2-8-2 Mikado, was running that day. As you are about to see, Roger came away with some very nice photos of her.
She was built by Baldwin in December 1912. In October 2017 she moved to the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad in Garibaldi, OR. Additional information on her may be found at https://www.steamlocomotive.com/locobase.php?country=USA&wheel=2-8-2&railroad=st#12765 Thanks Roger, Marty Bernard Edited 3 time(s).
